About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Audit Advisory team as a Senior Manager. As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in developing and implementing our ESG audit and assurance approach, working closely with our Audit Advisory and Financial Reporting Advisory teams.

As a Senior Manager, you'll be responsible for providing advice and ensuring compliance with ISAs and our audit and assurance methodology. You'll also support global initiatives to enhance and implement our BDO Global ESG assurance methodology, capacity building through training and knowledge sharing, and collaborating with our ESG networks in the UK and globally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement our ESG audit and assurance approach, working closely with our Audit Advisory and Financial Reporting Advisory teams
  • Support global initiatives to enhance and implement our BDO Global ESG assurance methodology
  • Capacity building through training and knowledge sharing
  • Collaborate with our ESG networks in the UK and globally
  • Work with our audit reporting team to consider the nature of services we offer in this area and how it interacts with our audit service offering
  • Develop policy and guidance as concerns reporting on ESG
What You'll Need

To be successful in this role, you'll need to have a strong background in audit and assurance, with a focus on ESG reporting and assurance. You'll also need to have excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with our teams and stakeholders.

We're looking for someone who is passionate about ESG and has a strong understanding of the latest trends and developments in this area. You'll need to be able to think critically and strategically, with the ability to develop and implement effective solutions to complex problems.
