Perioperative Care Specialist

We are looking for a highly skilled Perioperative Care Specialist to join our Theatre department at The Chiltern Hospital. As a Surgical First Assistant, you will play a crucial role in delivering safe quality care for patients during their perioperative phase of care.

This is a full-time role for 37.5 hours per week, requiring flexibility and a willingness to cover varied shifts. Key responsibilities include delivering safe quality care, contributing to quality improvement initiatives, applying legislation and policies correctly, and maintaining knowledge of Health and Safety at Work Act.

To be successful in this role, you will require registration with NMC or HCPC, Maths and English GCSE grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence, proficiency in PC software and systems, previous acute healthcare experience, and a Surgical First Assistant Certificate.
