Job Description

Job Title: Sales Advisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Advisor to join our team at MIT Group. As a Sales Advisor, you will be responsible for handling inward sales inquiries, providing support to our external sales team, and driving sales growth through proactive outbound sales calls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound sales inquiries and provide support to our external sales team
  • Develop opportunities with external sales team and account managers
  • Lead generation through proactive outbound sales calls
  • Utilize SAP CRM system to generate sales quotations
  • Active follow-up of all sales quotes
  • Maintain an up-to-date CRM system with regular customer updates
  • Seamless interaction with sales orders team to process customer purchase orders
  • Report into weekly sales meeting on current market trends and opportunities

Requirements:

  • Passion for sales and a desire to develop a career in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to use Office IT functions such as Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.
  • Experience working with an ERP type system (SAP business system would be preferable but not essential as full training will be provided)
  • Understanding of mechanical and/or electrical equipment
  • Experience in online selling
  • Knowledge of marine, industrial, or construction industries
