We are seeking someone with experience in supported housing, who has a thorough knowledge of welfare benefits and a proactive approach to rent arrears. The successful candidate will be able to assist vulnerable individuals in identifying their personal goals and produce outcome focused support plans. You will also have the ability to deal positively and innovatively with clients exhibiting challenging behaviour, to build good working relationships, and to identify and assess risk.

The salary for this role is approximately £28,000-£32,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description:
  • To provide effective support to residents through individual support plans, with the aim of promoting independent living.
  • To deliver good practice across the service, including assessing clients' suitability for acceptance to the hostel.
  • To advise clients of welfare benefits, housing, training and employment opportunities.
