The Role of a Claims HandlerAs a Claims Handler, you will be responsible for undertaking the case management of insurance claims, ensuring that they are handled efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of insurance claims from initial notification to closure
- Conduct thorough investigations into claims, gathering relevant information and evidence
- Communicate with policyholders, brokers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and satisfactory resolution of claims
- Work closely with underwriters and other teams to ensure that claims are handled in accordance with company policies and procedures
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
