The Role of a Claims Handler

As a Claims Handler, you will be responsible for undertaking the case management of insurance claims, ensuring that they are handled efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of insurance claims from initial notification to closure
  • Conduct thorough investigations into claims, gathering relevant information and evidence
  • Communicate with policyholders, brokers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and satisfactory resolution of claims
  • Work closely with underwriters and other teams to ensure that claims are handled in accordance with company policies and procedures
