Sales Consultant

At Bellway, we are committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business success. We are seeking a skilled Sales Advisor to join our East Midlands Division, where you will play a vital role in achieving our sales targets and exceeding customer expectations.
The Sales Advisor will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the site sales complex, ensuring that outstanding customer service is delivered throughout the customer journey. This includes achieving qualified sales reservations, meeting or exceeding sales targets, and efficiently progressing reservations through to exchange of contracts and legal completion.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Maintaining the general presentation of the site and sales complex to a high standard.
- Ensuring that all relevant information required to give full and accurate information to purchasers is available and maintained at all times.
- Guiding potential purchasers around show homes, stock plots, and site to fully demonstrate the product.
- Ensuring visitors and potential purchasers are aware of Bellway's Health and Safety Policy and are always accompanied by a Bellway representative.
- Maintaining accurate records using Bellway's in-house CRM system.
- Liaising with purchasers, solicitors, and financial advisers on a regular basis.
- Arranging for a customer to attend a home demonstration with the Site Manager and carrying out the Company's handover policy.
- Assisting purchasers following legal completion with any defects or customer care issues.
- Attending and minuting a weekly Sales/Site Meeting with your Site Manager.
- Proactively working with Sales Managers and colleagues to suggest ideas to achieve increased sales.
Requirements for the role include:
- Experience of working within a face-to-face sales environment.
- Experience of working as a Sales Advisor for a residential house builder is desirable.
- GCSE Maths and English – Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent).
- Effective negotiation and sales skills.
- Good administration skills.
- Strong communication and listening skills.
- Ability to work on own as well as part of a team.
- IT literate and the ability to adapt to new systems.
