About the Role

The Sales Advisor position at Bellway is a key role in our East Midlands Division's Sales team. As a Sales Advisor, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service throughout the customer journey, ensuring that sales targets are met or exceeded.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a high standard of presentation for the site and sales complex.
  • Ensure all relevant information is available to provide accurate information to customers.
  • Guide potential customers through show homes, stock plots, and site to demonstrate the product.
  • Ensure visitors and potential customers are aware of Bellway's Health and Safety Policy and are accompanied by a Bellway representative.
  • Maintain accurate records using Bellway's CRM system.
  • Liaise with customers, solicitors, and financial advisers.
  • Arrange for customers to attend home demonstrations with the Site Manager and carry out the Company's handover policy.
  • Assist customers following legal completion with defects or customer care issues.
  • Attend and minute weekly Sales/Site Meetings with the Site Manager.
  • Work with Sales Managers and colleagues to suggest ideas for increased sales.

Requirements

  • Experience in a face-to-face sales environment.
  • Desirable experience as a Sales Advisor for a residential house builder.
  • GCSE Maths and English – Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent).
  • Effective negotiation and sales skills.
  • Good administration skills.
  • Strong communication and listening skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • IT literacy and adaptability to new systems.
  • Commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Working Conditions

  • Flexibility in day-to-day duties and hours worked.
  • Lone working, dependent on site.
  • Ability to travel to all sales sites and divisional offices.
  • Able to work weekends and bank holidays.
