Salary: £55,000 to £65,000 - Dependent on experience

Hours: 8am-5:30pm, Monday to Friday

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Quantity Surveyor to play a key role in our Commercial team and the wider business. As a Project Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the financial and contractual aspects of construction projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the financial aspects of construction projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders
  • Ensure that all contractual obligations are met, and that projects are delivered in accordance with the agreed scope, timeline, and budget
  • Collaborate with the project team to identify and mitigate potential risks and issues
  • Provide regular progress reports to stakeholders, including project updates, financial performance, and any issues or concerns

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong technical knowledge of construction and quantity surveying principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
