Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Milk Education. This is a full-time, part-time opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote inclusion and acceptance of all students
  • Support pupils consistently while responding to their individual needs
  • Work closely with the class teacher to provide a safe environment and engaging lessons
  • Support the child in the school sensory room

Requirements:

  • Holds a Level 2/3 qualification (CACHE, Childcare, NNEB, Etc.) or relevant experience within the last 3 months supporting children in an education, social care, nursery, community/youth role, college/university placement or any volunteer roles
  • Previously supported children in schools or SEN settings or similar
  • Ability to work under the guidance of the classroom teacher
  • Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills
