Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for an English Graduate to join their client school's English department as a Teaching Assistant. This is a full-time position, requiring the successful candidate to support the Teacher in their lesson delivery and work with smaller groups to target individual needs and learning plans.

The salary for this position will be between £420 and £450 per week.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Assisting the Teacher in supporting pupils with their learning development.
  • Working with smaller groups of pupils to intervene with any issues they may be experiencing in their learning.
  • Ensuring the classroom is a safe learning environment for pupils.
  • Ensuring children's protection procedures are being followed.

This is an ideal opportunity for a recent English Graduate to develop their skills as a Teaching Assistant. The school is performing excellently, with few social and behavioural issues, making it an ideal place to start a career in teaching English. The successful candidate will be supported by both Teaching Personnel and the school in their development, with the potential for progression into teacher training and a full-time teacher position.

For this role, it is essential that the candidate is a recent English Graduate, passionate about starting a career in teaching English. They must be willing to apply for a fully enhanced DBS check and provide two employment references.
