Stroke and Neuro Physio Specialist

Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust and University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust are seeking a highly skilled and motivated physiotherapist to join their team as a Specialist Rotational Physiotherapist in Neurology and Stroke.
Job ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for working in a variety of clinical settings, including acute stroke, stroke rehabilitation, early supported discharge service, specialist neurological rehab unit, brain injury unit, community integrated neurology and stroke service, and acute neurology.
They will work alongside highly skilled clinical specialist staff from the multidisciplinary team and will be supported by a clinical specialist physiotherapist within each rotation.
The rotations are 12 months long, allowing the candidate to develop their skills in each area and become part of the team.
The candidate will be expected to support and train less experienced staff and to be a clinical educator to students from various universities.
RequirementsThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in physiotherapy, with experience in neurology and stroke rehabilitation.
They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
A basic respiratory skill set is desirable, but training will be offered as required.
