Job Title: Assistant Headteacher

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Assistant Headteacher to join our team at Leiston Primary School. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experience of our students.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the curriculum and assessment across the school, as well as providing intervention teaching support. You will work closely with our teaching staff to develop and implement effective teaching and learning strategies, ensuring that our students receive a high-quality education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the curriculum and assessment across the school
  • Provide intervention teaching support
  • Work closely with teaching staff to develop and implement effective teaching and learning strategies
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture
  • Support the school leadership team in achieving our educational goals
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience of effective phase and subject leadership
  • Excellent teaching and leadership skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students and staff
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
