About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Assistant Headteacher to join our team at Leiston Primary School. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will play a vital role in shaping the curriculum and assessment strategy across the school.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of the school's curriculum and assessment policies
  • Provide guidance and support to teachers and staff on curriculum design and delivery
  • Contribute to the development of the school's strategic plan and budget
  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
  • Manage a team of teachers and support staff to achieve outstanding results
Requirements
  • Proven experience of effective phase and subject leadership
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with colleagues, parents, and the wider community
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a focus on achieving shared goals and objectives
