Key Responsibilities:- Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans and risk assessments, ensuring the highest standards of care and support.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with young people, their families, and external agencies, promoting a culture of openness and transparency.
- Ensure the home is maintained in a clean and tidy condition, adhering to our cleaning rota system and encouraging young people to participate in their upkeep.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records, receiving supervision and guidance from senior staff as needed.
- Contribute to the educational and social development of each young person, assisting in the implementation of Individual Education Programs and promoting a culture of learning and growth.
- Meet the emotional and physical needs of our young people, maximizing opportunities for their development and well-being.
- Provide support to the deputy/manager of the home, undertaking senior duties as directed and contributing to the smooth operation of the residential care team.
- Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People or equivalent (desirable).
- Experience in a children's home setting (essential).
- Passion for working with young people and a commitment to delivering high-quality care and support.
- Ability to work shift patterns, including sleep ins, and flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
