Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join our team at Sunny Days Nurseries and Pre-Schools. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early years education and childcare, along with strong leadership skills to manage a team effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Oversee the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children
  2. Develop and implement educational programs and activities that meet the needs of our children
  3. Supervise and support nursery staff, providing guidance and mentorship to help them grow professionally
  4. Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and children, building strong relationships and trust
  5. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and health & safety guidelines, maintaining a high level of quality in our services

Requirements

  1. Proven experience working in a nursery setting, with a strong understanding of early childhood education principles
  2. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
  3. Ability to drive the nursery's vision and goals, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve excellence
  4. Knowledge of regulatory standards and health & safety guidelines, with the ability to ensure compliance
