Role Overview

We're seeking an experienced Deputy Finance & Operations Manager to lead our financial operations. You'll focus on regulatory compliance, specifically FCA requirements. This role involves overseeing key finance functions like treasury, FP&A, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with our goals and objectives.
  • Contribute to long-term financial planning and budgeting processes.
  • Serve as a key finance partner for various departments, offering strategic financial guidance.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
  • Manage corporate risk, including financial, operational, and compliance risk.
  • Ensure FCA compliance, including capital adequacy requirements, liquidity thresholds, and other financial obligations.
  • Prepare and submit statutory financial reports and regulatory returns to the FCA in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Support post-merger integration and alignment of financial practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Strong experience in FCA reporting and compliance.
  • Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or CFA (or equivalent) is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 4-6 years of relevant finance experience.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
