Job Title: Business Development Manager
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Red Kite Waste. The successful candidate will be responsible for securing profitable hazardous waste management contracts and maintaining a robust sales pipeline.
Responsibilities:
- Secure profitable hazardous waste management contracts and large one-off jobs in the designated area.
- Manage tankered services, drummed and palletised waste, and coordinate with the technical team to ensure proper material handling.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in generating £600K+ annual revenue in a similar new business role within the waste management or brokered waste services industry.
- Solid technical understanding with the ability to communicate effectively with technical teams and comprehend hazardous waste pre-acceptance requirements.
- Willingness to travel regionally and spend two days per week at the depot. A UK driving license is essential.
