About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Catering Manager to join our team at Glasgow. As a key member of our school community, you will be responsible for delivering a high standard of catering provision in a large production kitchen and associated cluster units.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing a catering team, with a strong focus on customer care, budgetary control, and innovative menu planning. You will be a forward-thinking individual, dedicated to providing excellent service and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of catering staff, providing training and supervision to ensure excellent service and high-quality food production.
  • Develop and implement menus that meet the needs of our students and staff, with a focus on healthy eating and sustainability.
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure efficient and effective catering operations.
  • Collaborate with the Area Operations Manager to achieve performance targets and improve catering services.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers to promote new business and ensure excellent customer service.
