Job Title: Assistant Catering Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Catering Manager to join our team at Glasgow City Council. As a key member of our catering team, you will be responsible for delivering a high standard of catering provision, including the preparation and cooking of food.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a high standard of catering provision, including the preparation and cooking of food.
  • Support the Catering Manager in achieving performance targets and objectives.
  • Assist in the completion of relevant paperwork, Pecos ordering, and staff training and supervision.
  • Work flexibly to meet the needs of the catering team.

Requirements:

  • Excellent knowledge of cooking techniques and a passion for delivering high-quality food.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme.
