We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our communications team at BMW Group Plant Hams Hall. As a communications specialist, you will play a key role in promoting our brand and engaging with our employees and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies to promote our brand and engage with our employees and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the communications manager to plan and execute events and visits for various audiences.
  • Manage and maintain our internal and external communication channels, including the intranet, employee app, and digital signage.
  • Support the communications manager in generating plant information and story ideas to engage with external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development of our communications strategy and ensure alignment with the company's overall goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • Studying towards a Bachelor's degree in Business, Media, Communications, Marketing, Events Management, English, Social Sciences, or another related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated passion for engaging with and building relationships with people.
  • Flexibility with working hours and potential travel to other BMW Group sites in the UK to support various projects and events.
  • Awareness and interest in current affairs with an eye for what makes an attractive potential story.
  • Basic photography and photo editing skills, with further digital media skills such as graphic design, film, and other forms of media enhancing your application.
  • Ambition to comfortably use and learn about a range of IT software and content management systems.

  • A competitive annual salary of £24,950, 26 days holiday per annum (pro rata to your contract), and an attractive pension scheme.
  • A rewarding work-life balance with contracted working hours of 39 hours a week, including a half day on a Friday.
