Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality customer service to the public, responding to enquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve the best outcomes, sharing knowledge and expertise to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Take accurate and detailed reports of crime, dealing with bail signers, and signposting queries to correct agencies.
  • Deal with post and deliveries for the station, ensuring efficient and secure handling of sensitive information.
  • Work effectively in a pressurised environment, maintaining a high standard of service delivery and treating people with dignity and respect.
Requirements:
  • Experience of working with the public, providing customer service skills, and dealing with a wide range of enquiries.
  • Sound decision-making skills, with the ability to make independent decisions and multi-task.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of Police Systems (STORM, Athena & PNC) and experience of using IT systems.
  • Ability to work flexibly, covering various stations within the division and sometimes the wider PEO across Kent as required.
