About the Role:

This exciting opportunity is part of our Environmental Health team, which focuses on delivering statutory food safety and health and safety in the workplace functions. As an Environmental Health Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring that our community is safe and healthy, and that our environment is protected and enhanced.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver statutory food safety and health and safety in the workplace functions
  • Work with the Environmental Health team to protect and enhance public health and the environment
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with statutory requirements
  • Provide advice and guidance to businesses and individuals on health and safety matters
  • Conduct inspections and investigations to identify and address health and safety risks

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to be an experienced Environmental Health Officer with registration to the Environmental Health Registration Board (EHRB). You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team.
