Environmental Health Officer

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Health Officer to join our dedicated team at Folkestone & Hythe District Council. As a key member of our Environmental Health team, you will play a vital role in protecting and enhancing public health and the environment.
About the RoleThis exciting opportunity will see you working on the delivery of statutory food safety and health and safety in the workplace functions. You will be responsible for ensuring that food businesses and premises meet the required standards, and for investigating any complaints or incidents related to food safety and health.
You will work closely with other teams within the council to achieve our goals and make a positive impact on our community. Your ability to organise and prioritise work effectively, combined with your experience and knowledge of environmental health, will be essential in this role.

RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need to be an experienced Environmental Health Officer with registration to the Environmental Health Registration Board (EHRB).
