Job Title: Senior Facilities Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Facilities Manager to join our team at Elton Recruitment. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operation of our buildings, ensuring that they are safe, efficient, and compliant with all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive asset management plan to ensure the optimal performance of our buildings.
  • Manage and control targets on energy, water usage, and waste reduction, and implement renewable energy initiatives to reduce our carbon footprint.
  • Liaise with the procurement team to compile tender documents and negotiate contract renewals with external suppliers.
  • Coordinate the delivery of all energy reporting and work with the finance team to develop annual budgets and long-term forecasts.
  • Provide clear guidance and management to all direct reports, ensuring that business and personal objectives are set and achieved.

Requirements:

  • NVQ level 6 in Facilities Management, Building Services, Estate Management, or a related discipline.
  • NEBOSH or IOSH accredited qualification in Health & Safety.
  • Experience of developing a long-term strategy for achieving net zero and energy reduction targets.
  • Detailed experience in the use of CAFM and compliance software.
  • Experience working in facilities or estate management for a minimum of 10 years.
