Job Title: Communications Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Communications Specialist to join our Global Communications department. As a key member of the team, you will play a leading role in developing our internal communication strategy and lead on its implementation through plans and campaigns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement internal communication strategies to engage staff and build employee advocacy.
  • Manage and update the Company intranet, leading the redevelopment of the staff intranet.
  • Prepare internal content plans linked to Company strategy and ongoing issues/topics, including writing and publication of global news articles.
  • Work closely with Human Resources to ensure high-quality internal communications and alignment in tone, brand, and cadence of messaging with employees.
  • Support the preparation of press releases for publication on the Company's website and lead the dissemination of releases via newswire services, the Company's external mailing list, social media, and internal announcements.
  • Support the planning and organization of in-person and online events, including internal meetings and social gatherings, as well as financial results conference calls/webcasts.
Requirements
  • First-class communication skills both written and oral.
  • Strong writing skills and the ability to simplify and explain complex information for lay-audiences.
  • Highly proficient with the Adobe Creative Suite, Mailchimp, WordPress, and other digital platforms including social media.
  • Skilled at video editing and design (desirable).
