Communications Specialist

Brightwork is proud to partner with a global life science company in West Lothian to recruit a Communications Specialist to join their team.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in developing internal communication strategy and leading its implementation through various communications initiatives and campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the development of internal communications strategy to engage staff and build employee advocacy.
- Manage and update the Company intranet, leading the redevelopment of the staff intranet.
- Prepare internal content plans linked to Company strategy and ongoing issues/topics, including writing and publishing global news articles.
- Work closely with Human Resources to ensure high-quality internal communications and alignment in tone, brand, and cadence of messaging with employees.
- Support communications around financial publications and other communication projects, such as video production and on-site photography.
- Perform proofreading and copyediting.
- Support the creation and updating of global communication materials, including Q&As and executive summaries.
