About the Role:We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Social Worker to work with vulnerable children and their families in St Helens. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working with children and families in need and be able to provide effective support and guidance to help them achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate the needs, strengths, and risks associated with children and families to identify what support is needed.
- Create individualized plans based on assessments, which outline the steps needed to improve the child's safety and well-being.
- Identify potential risks of abuse, neglect, or exploitation, and intervene to protect children from harm.
- Maintain accurate, detailed records of assessments, interventions, and decisions in line with legal and organizational requirements.
