About the Role

Coworth Park is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team. As a Sous Chef, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, working closely with the Head Chef to deliver exceptional food quality and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the day-to-day production of food, ensuring that all dishes meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Supervise and lead a team of chefs, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Manage inventory and ordering of ingredients, ensuring that we have the necessary supplies to meet demand.
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas, working closely with the Head Chef to ensure that they are aligned with the hotel's culinary vision.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and safety in the kitchen, ensuring that all staff are aware of and adhere to our policies and procedures.

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-end hotel or restaurant environment.
  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge, with a passion for delivering exceptional food quality and service.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure, managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to work varied shifts and hours.
