About the Role

We're seeking a talented and motivated Chef to join our team at Lancaster. As a key member of our kitchen team, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality dishes that exceed our customers' expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to our high standards
  • Work closely with our Head Chef to ensure seamless kitchen operations
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive dining experience
  • Contribute to the development of new menu ideas and dishes

Requirements
  • Previous kitchen experience, either as a Kitchen Porter/Kitchen Assistant/Commis Chef, or a willingness to learn and develop new skills
  • Driven and relentless, with a positive can-do attitude
  • Good communication skills and a team player
  • Self-motivated to work at pace, with limited supervision
  • Strong knowledge of best practice when it comes to all things allergens, kitchen essentials, and food safety
