Join Our Youth Ministry Team

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to lead our youth work team at Telford Minster. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a strong youth work strategy that engages and inspires young people in Telford.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and lead a strong youth work team to deliver high-quality programs and activities for young people in Telford.
  • Work with young people from years 6-13 from a wide range of backgrounds to help them explore their identities, grow in confidence, and discover faith in schools and in the community.
  • Collaborate with local schools and community organizations to identify opportunities for youth work and develop partnerships to support our programs.
  • Develop and manage budgets to ensure effective use of resources and achieve our youth work goals.
  • Provide pastoral care and support to young people and their families, working closely with our church community to provide a safe and supportive environment.
Requirements:
  • Passion for working with young people and a commitment to helping them discover their faith.
  • Experience in leading and managing teams, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality programs and activities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with young people, schools, and community organizations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meet the needs of our youth work programs.
