Care First UK Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Children's Registered Manager to lead our new two-bedded homes specialising in Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) in Swindon.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operation of the children's residential home in accordance with the standards set by OFSTED/CQC.
- Ensure the highest standards of care, safeguarding, and welfare for all children.
- Foster a positive working environment through training and supervision, inspiring, leading, and managing a team of staff to promote professional development and ensure the highest level of care is provided for our children.
- Develop and implement personalised care plans that meet the individual needs of the children.
- Work closely with external agencies, families, and professionals for comprehensive care.
- Maintain all necessary records and documentation in compliance with regulations and company policies.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided and take action to achieve continuous improvement.
- Attend regular meetings and represent the organisation.
Requirements:
- Relevant social care qualification, ideally Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare.
- OFSTED certification.
- Proven experience managing EBD homes or similar settings.
- Previously been a manager or a deputy looking to step up.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, including OFSTED standards and legislation relating to children's care.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, resources, and staff effectively.
- A strong commitment to promote the wellbeing and development of children.
