Join Our Team as a Research Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced research associate to join our team at the International Society for Industrial Ecology. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research on sustainable energy systems, collaborating with institutions in selected partner countries, and producing high-quality research outputs.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  1. Conducting critical analysis of material production and supply chains
  2. Writing academic papers and policy briefs
  3. Collaborating with multicultural partners and research institutes

Applicants must have a PhD in Engineering or a related field, with knowledge and experience in environmental assessment, programming languages (Python, MATLAB, R), software control (GitHub), and GIS-type software. They should also have excellent collaboration and communication skills.

The estimated salary for this position is £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
