Warehouse Logistics Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Logistics Specialist to join our team at Wincanton. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
Key Responsibilities:
- To carry out receiving, verification, put away, pick, pack, presentation, and despatch in line with company procedures.
- To ensure all special instructions in relation to material handling and storage are adhered to, including shelf life, FIFO, and hazardous materials.
- To work within safe systems of work in line with Wincanton Health & Safety legislation and guidelines.
- To operate both customer and Wincanton IT systems.
- To regularly contribute to continuous improvement activities.
Requirements:
- Attention to detail.
- Ideal experience and licensing in the use of MHE.
- Computer literacy and the ability to operate RF guns.
- Good understanding and experience working with extensive warehouse management systems.
- Team player.
- Customer-focused.
- Polite and professional manner.
