Alexander Steele is recruiting an Inventory Control Specialist to oversee the highest standards of quality, stock management, and control processes within their unique FMCG business in Wiltshire.

The successful candidate will supervise a team of 10 people and be responsible for all aspects of inbound inventory coming into the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. The coordination and planning of all inbound deliveries for stock uplifted from other UK warehouses, imported goods arranged by customers for EU & non-EU deliveries with agreed hauliers.
  2. Prioritising private and high-value deliveries to manage risk effectively and align with business values and standards.
  3. Developing and implementing efficient stock management processes for accurate tracking of stored goods.
  4. Conducting regular inspections of stored goods to ensure compliance with temperature, humidity, and light control measures.
Requirements:
  • Strong planning and analytical skills with experience in reporting at management level.
  • Excellent communication and customer focus with commercial awareness.
  • Good Excel experience in manipulating data received in different formats.
What We Offer:
  1. Competitive salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum.
  2. 30 days holiday (increases to 33 after a year's service).
  3. Onsite Monday - Friday 8:30am-5pm.
  4. Private medical care.
