**Job Title:** Laundry Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Specialist to join our team at a care home in Chippenham. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and comfort for residents by ensuring their clothing and linens are sorted, washed, dried, folded, and ironed with care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron residents' clothing and linens
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laundry area
  • Follow infection control and hygiene standards
  • Report any issues with laundry equipment or supplies
  • Collaborate with care home staff to ensure resident needs are met efficiently

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 to 4 shifts per week
  • Access to a vehicle for easy transportation (for Bristol and Bath applicants)
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • A compassionate, professional attitude suited to a care home environment
