Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to join our team at NHS Jobs. As an Administrative Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinics and administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with Patients: Provide exceptional customer service to patients, responding to their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Referral Management: Process new referrals via electronic systems and ensure that urgent referrals are prioritized and forwarded to the appropriate services.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support for clinics, including data inputting, scanning of clinical documents, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Communication: Ensure that all letters and emails received from General Practitioners and within the service are processed according to our protocols.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a team, attending meetings and contributing to the development of administrative processes.
Requirements
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with patients, clinicians, and other stakeholders.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using electronic systems, including EmisWeb and e-RS.
  • Confidentiality and Discretion: Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
