Social Worker Children in Care Specialist

Remedy Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced and dedicated Qualified Social Worker to work within Essex County Council's Children in Care Team based in Harlow.
About the RoleThis is a permanent position, offering a competitive salary of £36,101 - £48,622 per annum, depending on experience.
The ideal candidate will have a diploma or degree in social work, registration with Social Work England, and demonstrated ability in applying social work knowledge and emotional intelligence in challenging situations.
We offer a supportive and creative team environment, regular supervision, and training opportunities through the Essex Social Care Academy (ESCA).
The role involves working with children and young people up to 18 years old who are in care, developing permanency plans, life-story work, and supporting transitions into leaving care or returning home.

- Diploma or degree in social work, CQSW, CSS, or equivalent;
- Registration with Social Work England as a registered Social Worker;
- Demonstrated ability in the application of social work knowledge, using emotional intelligence, analytical skills, and acting with confidence in challenging social and family situations;
