Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Activity Programme Developer to join our team at HC-One. As an Activities Co-ordinator, you will play a vital role in planning and implementing engaging activities for our residents.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our residents. You will be responsible for developing and delivering activity programmes that cater to their diverse interests and needs. Your positive energy and natural ability to get along with people will make you a valuable asset to our team.

You will work closely with the Home Manager to organise fundraising events and contribute to the overall well-being of our residents. Your excellent planning, organisational, and IT skills will enable you to manage your time effectively and prioritise tasks accordingly.

In addition to your core responsibilities, you will also be expected to assist in the recruitment and training of new colleagues, ensuring they are equipped to provide exceptional care and support to our residents.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A background working with vulnerable individuals, ideally developing activity programmes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to recognise signs of potential abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to report concerns
  • Enhanced DBS/PVG certificate (we will provide full training)
