Job Summary
At Sandgate Road Surgery, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Assistant to join our dedicated team. As a Clinical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals in delivering exceptional services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct new patient health checks and administer prescribed programmes of care
- Assist with ECG recordings, phlebotomy, and blood pressure monitoring
- Process and manage laboratory samples, and maintain accurate records
- Support the sterilisation, cleansing, and maintenance of surgical equipment
- Contribute to the assessment and surveillance of patients' health and well-being
Person Specification:
- GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths
- Experience in directly providing healthcare to patients
- Clear and concise communication skills, and a proactive approach to learning and professional development
