We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic full-time Teaching Assistant to support children's learning and growth at Smart Teachers in Dagenham.

About the Role
  • Support classroom teachers with lesson delivery and provide individual/small group support to students who need extra help.
  • Assist in preparing and maintaining classroom materials, resources, and managing classroom behavior.
  • Monitor and record student progress, reporting observations to teachers, and assist with planning and implementing learning activities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to deliver high-quality educational experiences.
  • Provide targeted support to students requiring additional assistance.
  • Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Requirements
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Current Enhanced DBS check or willingness to undertake one.
  • Experience working with children, ideally in an educational or childcare setting.
