We are seeking an experienced and skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team in the South East region. As a Senior Clinical Psychologist, you will play a key role in developing and implementing effective assessment and intervention plans for pupils with complex needs.

The successful candidate will have a postgraduate doctoral level qualification in Psychology (Clinical/Counselling) and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and British Psychological Society (BPS). You will also have significant experience working with adults or children with intellectual disabilities and be able to work sensitively with people to resolve conflict effectively.

We offer a competitive salary of £55,000-£65,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes life assurance, pension scheme, and flexible working options. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective assessment and intervention plans for pupils with complex needs
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care and support
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service policies and procedures
  • Provide leadership and supervision to junior staff members
  • Maintain accurate records and report data to inform service delivery and development

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate doctoral level qualification in Psychology (Clinical/Counselling)
  • Registration with the HCPC and BPS
  • Significant experience working with adults or children with intellectual disabilities
  • Ability to work sensitively with people to resolve conflict effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
