Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced physiotherapist to join our team at Hywel Dda University Health Board. As a Senior Physiotherapy Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and leading the physiotherapy team in providing services across Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, and Pembrokeshire.

About the Role

This is a Band 6 full-time permanent position based in Cardigan Integrated Care Centre. The successful candidate will have postgraduate experience in relevant clinical specialty, completion of junior competency framework, and evidence of staff supervision. They will also have practical experience to a level that would enable participation on the respiratory on-call rota.

Key Responsibilities
  • To deliver high-quality patient care and lead the physiotherapy team in providing services across the health board's defined clinical area of clinical speciality.
  • To participate in the continuous professional development process, involving education/supervising of junior staff and students.
  • To contribute to the provision of a flexible 7-day service, based on service need, on a rota basis.
Requirements
  • Professional registration as recognised by HPCP.
  • Post-graduate evidence of specialist education.
  • CPD evidence.
  • IT skills.
Estimated Salary: £34,000 - £40,000 per annum
