This is an exciting opportunity to join Austin Fraser as a Human Factors Engineer. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees.
Job Description
- Conduct thorough ergonomic assessments of Assembly/Installation activities to identify potential risks and hazards.
- Develop and implement effective solutions to mitigate these risks, working closely with senior leaders to validate action plans.
- Collaborate with colleagues to define specifications and manage subcontractor work packages related to ergonomics.
- Maintain up-to-date Ergonomics Tactical Implementation plans for the location.
- Design and implement training programs to reduce risks and hazards in the workplace.
Requirements
- Degree (or higher) in Ergonomics/Human Factors from an accredited CIEHF institution.
- Proven experience in human factors sciences, work physiology, biomechanics, or cognition.
- Ability to identify and propose solutions to ergonomics-related risk factors.
- Strong technical skills, including assessment tools, standards, and report writing.
