Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Area Manager to oversee our busy branches. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the automotive industry, preferably as an Area Manager or Motor Factor Branch Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate employee performance and provide feedback and coaching as required.
  • Develop customer relations within the area and communicate with the Regional Sales Manager to meet targets.
  • Interact with customers regularly via telephone or in-person visits to ensure satisfaction and gain feedback.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the sales team within their area, identifying new business opportunities, and developing existing business through effective sales planning. They will also be expected to organize local market research and monitor competitor activity.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Natural leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proven ability to manage and grow direct reports.
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to leverage reporting data to drive growth and margin.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Estimated Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum
