About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Engineer to join our Vehicle Electrification Team at Forseven. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the definition and delivery of high voltage powertrain systems from both a hardware and software perspective.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define vehicle high voltage powertrain system requirements, including inputs from vehicle level requirements and component specifications.
  • Analyze and understand high voltage control strategies to be implemented in the vehicle, including high voltage energy management.
  • Work at vehicle, system, and component levels on the delivery, execution, and support of validation plans.
  • Align with the homologation team to ensure the vehicle can be delivered into multiple markets.
  • Develop the High Voltage Powertrain System FMEA and support project engineers in the delivery of component DFMEA.

Requirements:

  • Experience in the delivery of high voltage electric powertrain systems within an automotive engineering environment.
  • Proven experience in the development of System FMEA and DFMEA.
  • Experience with vehicle testing and analysis using measurement and calibration tools such as Vector CANalyzer and ETAS INCA.
  • Demonstrable understanding of high voltage architectures and underlying principles and technologies, including thermal management, high voltage safety, and control strategies.
  • Possession of an Electronics, Control Systems, Automotive, or similar honors engineering degree. Other recognized engineering qualifications combined with relevant significant experience will be considered.
