Job Description

Job Title: Electrical Systems Engineer

Job Summary:

Optamor is seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electrical systems for our vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical systems for our vehicles, including high voltage systems, electrical architecture, and electrical components.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure that electrical systems meet performance, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test procedures, and technical reports.
  • Conduct technical reviews and provide feedback to ensure that electrical systems meet company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in the development of electrical system requirements and specifications, including electrical architecture, electrical components, and electrical testing.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure that electrical components meet company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure that electrical components are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
  • Participate in the development of electrical system testing and validation plans, including electrical testing, electrical validation, and electrical verification.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance to ensure that electrical systems meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical systems engineering, including design, development, and implementation of electrical systems.
  • Experience with high voltage systems, electrical architecture, and electrical components.
  • Experience with electrical system testing and validation, including electrical testing, electrical validation, and electrical verification.
  • Experience with supplier management, including development and maintenance of relationships with suppliers.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including ability to work with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including ability to analyze complex electrical systems and develop solutions.
  • Experience with electrical system requirements and specifications, including electrical architecture, electrical components, and electrical testing.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience with electrical system design tools, including computer-aided design (CAD) software and electrical simulation software.
  • Experience with electrical system testing and validation tools, including electrical testing equipment and electrical validation software.
  • Experience with supplier management tools, including supplier relationship management software and supplier performance management software.
