We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Engineer to join our innovative team at Forseven. As a key member of our Vehicle Electrification Team, you will be responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge electrical systems for our revolutionary electric vehicles.

About the Role

  • Develop and implement electrical system architectures for our electric vehicles, ensuring optimal performance, efficiency, and safety.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems with other vehicle components, such as powertrains and batteries.
  • Design and test high-voltage electrical components, including DC-DC converters, on-board chargers, and inverters.
  • Work with suppliers to specify and develop electrical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Participate in system review, verification, and validation activities, including FMEAs and DVP planning.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in electrical systems engineering, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Demonstrable understanding of high-voltage electrical architectures and underlying principles and technologies.
  • Experience with project engineering, risk management, and mitigation planning.
  • Working knowledge of associated systems, such as MGUs, batteries, and charging systems.
  • Ability to communicate technical requirements to suppliers and manage cost-benefit compromises.
