Electrical Systems Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team at OX Delivers, a company dedicated to empowering communities and driving positive change through improving access to transport.

This is an exciting opportunity to develop groundbreaking technology with a direct impact on people's lives. As an Electrical Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of transportation.

Key Responsibilities

As an Electrical Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing and developing electrical systems for our EV trucks, ensuring they meet the required technical regulations and standards.
  • Working closely with the truck teams to create and integrate electrical systems, defining the required electrical and electronics hardware, and creating harness layouts.
  • Supporting electrical installation, test, and diagnostics of electrical systems, and ensuring all work complies with technical regulations.
  • Managing technical activities carried out by external suppliers for design, development, and production.
  • Contributing to due diligence being applied and documented for any safety-critical aspects of the truck.
  • Project fault reporting and ensuring issues are resolved in a timely manner.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working on EV electrical architecture systems, with a strong understanding of high and low-voltage distribution.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Confidence and knowledge to raise issues and develop solutions, with a methodical and measured approach.
  • Initiative to find ways to achieve and deliver what is required, with a can-do attitude.
  • Desirable: Solidworks Electrical or similar software experience.
