About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team at Optamor. As a key member of our Engineering department, you will be responsible for the design, development, and integration of electrical systems for our cutting-edge projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical System Design and Development: Design and develop electrical systems, including electrical modules, ECUs, and other electrical components, to meet project requirements.
  • System Integration and Validation: Integrate and validate electrical systems with other vehicle systems, ensuring seamless functionality and performance.
  • Supplier Management: Manage relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of electrical components and systems.
  • Project Leadership: Lead project teams, providing technical guidance and oversight to ensure project deliverables are met.
  • Quality and Compliance: Ensure all electrical systems meet quality and compliance standards, including functional safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality, to ensure effective communication and project success.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical system design, development, and integration.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of electrical systems, including electrical modules, ECUs, and other electrical components. Proficient in design tools, such as CATIA V5 or V6. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with automotive electrical systems, including CAN, FlexRay, and LIN networks. Understanding of functional safety and regulatory requirements, including ISO 26262 and EuroNCAP.
