About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assistant Banqueting Manager at The Athenaeum Club. As a key member of our Banqueting and Events department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members and their guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the day-to-day running of the Banqueting and Events department, ensuring seamless execution of events and maintaining high standards of service.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with members, club departments, and external suppliers to ensure maximum efficiency and satisfaction.
- Work closely with the Operations team to plan and execute events, including budgeting, venue selection, and vendor management.
- Supervise and train staff to ensure excellent service delivery and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Monitor and evaluate event performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
About You:
- Previous experience in a high-end hospitality or events management role, preferably in a 5-star hotel or members' club.
- Proven track record of planning and executing successful events, with a focus on attention to detail and exceptional customer service.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
